Wiki is an electronic document, where people, who have access to it, can add information and benefit to it.

Wiki can be used:

As the personal information manager

     A person can publice on wiki his personal information, like CV, short biography, bibliography etc. For example, teacher can make a template for each student where students add their reflections of work, their grades etc. Therefore we get the portfolio of learning process of students. (Portfolio technology)

     Wiki is a space where students can put the information they have found, analyse it and structurize it according to aims of projects. Teacher is able to see, how active the student is, how deep is students work, and also make some notes and changes to students wiki.

As means for the teamwork organisation over collective projects

     Wiki is collective electronic board on which the whole group can write. Wiki gives more space for individual work on one project, but yet - makes it collective. It is a space for discussions, make experiments, exchanging ideas, giving assignments etc.

     Teacher can assigne group work for home, since interactive possibilites of wiki allows to create a group project, even if all its members are located in different places. It raises responsibility and tolerance towards each other.

     Video bellow demonstrates, that there is no more need to spend long hours sitting inside and wasting paper. Use wiki whenever and wherever you want, and save some tree!!

     Wiki is a storehouses of collective experience. Not always all information can be put in one place and found by one person, but links to information can be. So, add a link, make short description and everybody can come, see, choose and use this collective electronic storehouse/library.
