     In these conditions of our time, when there is too much information, it is very difficult to structurize it for successfull organization and realization of processes of searching, storing and editing information you need.

     The Internet allows us to make our private "collection" of RSS feeds in such places like Netvibes. Therefore you don`t have to check several sites one by one, but you can log in to your private storehouse and see there, if there is some changes in your daily websites. It is a very important tool, if you must work with lots of Internet sources. For example, if your students must make assignments on their blogs or wikis, you don`t have to check each of them, because you will see the changes in you personal Netvibes page. It saves time!!

     Teacher can offer his/her own collection of RSS feeds to students for preparing for lessons with any kinds of methods - traditional or active methods, such as educational discussion, reaserch, educational games etc. The advantage of such digital list of sources, is the possibility to update it at anytime, and people, who use it, always see these changes and therefore get the information that teacher wants them to use.

     RSS allows not just keep you updated about changes on you daily websites, it helps you to find an information with some specific key word, that is publiced, while you are gone. Just add your Google Alerts to your Netvibes page.

Our ideas for RSS

"My subject (history) demands working with information - looking for it, systemizing it, analysing it and then using it. Since there are too much sources with different content on the WWW, RSS feeds are good way how to find, sort and then share the information. I like the idea, that I can work together with my students on creation of list of sources, and we all can update the list at any time. Also if we are using blogs for tasks, RSS feed is a great help for teacher." Laura
